Conditioning/Agility Camp

Hello Everyone,

The NTFL has adopted the UIL rules for this season as it pertains to COVID-19. This means that the official start of team practices cannot be until September 7. However, the NTFL has allowed each league to hold conditioning/agility camps.

LCFCA will host a conditioning/agility camp twice a week for the next 5 weeks. This camp is open to EVERYONE with the LCFCA and will focus on drills that will help to increase their over-all skills as it relates to agility, speed, and conditioning.

There will be a charge of $3.00 per session. ($30) for the entire 5 weeks. It will be Tuesdays and Thursdays. 7 PM to 8:30 PM. We want to reiterate that the session fee will go to our scholarship fund, like the Duffey Bowl, to help raise funds for individuals who cannot afford to play, as well as the scholarship given to graduating seniors who played within the LCFCA.

The camp will be hosted by Coach Flowers and the other Coaches of the LCFCA. If you have any questions please email us at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing everyone out there. This is a great opportunity to get the kids acclimated to the heat in a controlled environment. The kids will be broken down into similar age groups to keep them working with their skill set.

The agility/conditioning camp will start on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. The camps will go from 7pm to 830pm and will be held at the Lake Dallas park off Hundley Drive in Lake Dallas.

We are currently working on a payment methods for the camp, which  will include Venmo. Once the preferred methods are discussed, I will let everyone know how they can go about paying. Thank you all who have emailed and asked questions.

The equipment needed for the first day of camp week of camp will be athletic clothing with cleats. This will change to helmets only later on, but the first week they are not required. Do not forget to bring a water bottle. We WILL NOT HAVE community water to give away. This is against current guidelines and as such bring lots of water for your kids.

 Go Falcons!
