 Team Parent

Each team needs a Team Parent to help them throughout the season.  The Team Parent ensures the team has banners to run through, organizes homecoming and takes care of the end of year coaches’ gifts.  After the draft, coaches will select a Team Parent for the season.

Volunteers

All Coaches are volunteers.  The Coaches spend countless hours preparing for practice, teaching your girls, and exhibiting leadership.  If you would like to volunteer as a Cheer Coach for 2018, please email Amy Chambers at lakecitiescheer@yahoo.com for more information.

Certification

All coaches must be certified through the NYSCA prior to the draft.  You may receive your certification by clicking the attached link and watching skills and safety videos.

http://www.nays.org/coaches/membership/  The costs for the certification and membership into NYSCA is $25.00 per year. Membership must be renewed each year prior to attending the Draft.  After you have received your membership number, please email Amy Chambers.
